Kait Jens

Kait Jens is a Construction Manager at WMG Development, where she leads commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. With a foundation built on the general contractor side of the industry and hands-on field experience, she brings practical jobsite knowledge, cost awareness, and strong trade relationships to her role as a developer representative. She works closely with general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners to maintain quality, budgets, schedules, and accountability throughout each project.

Kait’s leadership style is rooted in clear communication, extreme ownership, and a solutions-focused approach. She believes strong projects are built through strong relationships and places a high value on cultivating partnerships that are transparent, fair, and grounded in mutual respect. When challenges arise, her focus is on identifying issues early, finding a path forward, and keeping teams aligned rather than assigning blame.

Originally from a small town in Southwest Iowa, Kait moved to Florida in 2016 and began her career in construction. Her Midwestern upbringing shaped the work ethic and persistence she carries with her today. She believes success is built through consistency, preparation, and a willingness to keep showing up when things get difficult. In an industry traditionally dominated by men, Kait is passionate about increasing visibility and opportunity for women in construction and supporting the next generation of women entering the field.
