Tyler Frerichs

Tyler is responsible for growing the WMG pipeline in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. He works closely with local partners to understand market trends and develop strategies for expansion in each market. Once a site is identified, Tyler facilitates the land or building purchase, negotiates leases with tenants, and collaborates with the Design & Construction Team to create detailed budgets. His goal is to deliver economically friendly and timely projects for clients.

Originally from Sullivan, IL, Tyler attended Lincoln Land Community College, where he played baseball for a couple of years before transferring to Illinois State University, where he majored in Finance and Accounting.

Tyler and his wife, Kayleigh, live in Champaign, IL with their three daughters, Reese, Margot, and Hallie. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys being outdoors, particularly golfing and mountain biking. He also enjoys adding to his bourbon collection and spending time with family and friends. When they can get a babysitter, Tyler and Kayleigh attend as many University of Illinois football and basketball games as possible. Go Illini!
